What Teachers Are Saying
“I have loved working at The Academy the past 20 years…because I love kids. We have a friendly staff and consider each other our school family. We follow safety routines and we constantly practice Conscious Discipline which has changed the dynamic in my room! I like our curriculum.and how it fosters their growth and learning. I teach in the Pre-K Two class and love seeing the kids reach their goals and how confident they feel when they know they are ready for kindergarten.”
-Robin Friedrichs, Pre-K Teacher
“While working in childcare there may be times… when you need an extra helper in your room, extra supplies, or even just a moment to breathe and collect yourself. The leadership at The Academy recognizes and understands these needs. The level of support I have personally felt at this school is unmatched by others I have been a part of. It takes a village a raise a child. It also takes a village to assist the growth and development of teachers. The Academy is my village.”
-Rachel Hufham, Preschool Teacher
“There are many reasons I love working for The Academy… First, the management team goes above and beyond to make sure we as teachers have every resource we need to do our job. Secondly, it’s the teachers at our center. It is more like a second family for me being I changed careers and moved here. They have all been such a support to me both inside and outside of work. Lastly, it’s the parents. We have some of the best parents around. I love what I do and the people I work with. Getting to teach and love on the little ones is an extra bonus.”
-Tracey Gibson, Toddler Teacher
“I can’t imagine working anywhere besides The Academy… I love my babies and feel like my work is my family. Our Directors truly care about their employees and allow us a balance of work and home. We are treated well and enjoy many perks such as special breakfasts, employee outings and elaborate parties. I always feel appreciated!”
-Neeta Sharma, Infant Teacher
